As we emerge from the variety of crises that our nation and world is facing, we are realizing the magnitude of people in need of ministry. While church bodies and leaders search for new methods to remain relevant and minister to this generation effectively, the simplicity of the ministry of Jesus seems lost. The apostle Peter attributed Jesus’ success in ministry to the anointing of the Holy Spirit and the presence of God in His life. As Jesus’ disciples made disciples, the principle of anointed ministry was passed to succeeding generations as they in turn made disciples. Today’s message takes us back to the simplicity and effectiveness of rediscovering the anointing that destroys yokes and lifts burdens off broken lives.
