“Be dressed for service and keep your lamps burning, as though you were waiting for your master to return from the wedding feast.” Those are the words of Jesus. They are not a suggestion. They are imperative. The early church in the Book of Acts grew rapidly and then multiplied greatly. Thankfully they never forgot the principles Jesus taught them. Consequently, they raised up a continual stream of disciple-making leaders. If they had not, there would be no hope for our generation nor the generation that follows.
