Bonus Sunday evening teaching on the subject of healing
As God’s people begin this year by humbling themselves and praying, we are asking Him for an unmistakeable, undeniable move of the Holy Spirit across the land. We have an intense desire for all the predictions of the prophet Joel and the apostle Peter to come to pass. Only this will change the hearts of the people to seek after the only true God through Jesus Christ the one he has sent.
When shortage and famine strike suddenly, a sense of hopelessness begins to assail the lives of people. Even believers can lose faith and give in to the circumstances that surround them. God has miracle provision for His people today who will hear His voice and obey.
Indecision is one of the enemies of faith, paralyzing its victims when action is required. Today we are exploring the potential power of faith during crisis times.
In today’s message, we are examining the healing ministry of Simon Peter. Never before in history has the need for this type of ministry been greater. Are you prepared? When will you begin?
Religion has long sought to thwart the power of the Gospel, but in amazing ways the Lord always proves the truth of the Gospel. For example, when Paul and Barnabas went to Iconium, the Word says, “the apostles stayed there a long time, preaching boldly about the grace of the Lord. And the Lord proved their message was true by giving them power to do miraculous signs and wonders.” (Acts 14:3) Without the Holy Spirit, even the message of Christmas becomes secular and powerless. Today’s message counters this with 5 reasons we should talk about the baptism in the Holy Spirit at Christmas time.
