Why would God become a man? For many centuries now, Christians have considered the incarnation as the bedrock of the Christian faith.

Jesus equipped His disciples to turn the world upside down by training them to do His works. He even predicted that they would do greater works than He did. As the time of His return gets ever nearer, the urgency of disciple-making has become paramount.

Today we live in a world with an unlimited, infinite amount of information at our finger tips. How do YOU determine what is truth or what is a lie, or what is beneficial or what is harmful? We will look at a Biblical account regarding a prophet and prophets that I believe shares some interesting insights to consider AND then share some information contrasting the office of the prophet with the gift of prophecy AND also answer God’s question (noted in the title of the message) with God’s own answer!
We need our hearts healed from the past and our minds renewed to the truth of God. This is a work of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God as we seek to renew our minds. In this way, we will be free from past hurts and lies, and can walk in genuine victory, ready to fulfill all that the Lord has for us.
When we are born again, we are made to be new creatures in Christ, but our soul requires restoration. This is a work of the Holy Spirit through the Word of God as we seek to renew our minds. In this way, we will be free from past hurts and lies, and can walk in genuine victory, ready to fulfill all that the Lord has for us.
We are living in an age of lies and deception. Although Jesus clearly outlined the events leading up to the end of the ages, many are not prepared for what really lies ahead. With their attention diverted away from spiritual truth and reality, they are blindly following the latest humanistic trends as they head for an eternity devoid of the presence of God. As believers, we are exhorted to be “sober and vigilant” as we await the soon return of our Messiah as King of Kings and Lord of Lords.
Alternate Title: “Have another thought: thinking with a new Mind.” Enoch Paul teaches about our identity in Christ Jesus.
When we trust in God to protect us in every area of our lives, we receive a peace of mind the world will never be able to understand or possess. “And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus” (Philippians 4:7, NIV). God’s peace is stronger than any spirit of fear roaming the earth today.
